Upcoming at La Loma Projects is a two person show pairing Alice Könitz’s subversive mixed media sculptures with Scott Marvel Cassidy’s tightly formed oil paintings of interiors. The title of the exhibition alludes to the position of the viewer approaching an event horizon, where laws of physics begin to collapse, such may be occurring in these uncanny and deceptive works.
